About The Position

The After-Hours Delivery Partner is responsible for ensuring continuous, efficient staffing support during non-business hours. This role serves as the primary point of contact for scheduling, staffing escalations, and MSP (Managed Service Provider) coordination within a healthcare environment. You will work closely with hospital leadership, clinical staff, and external staffing partners to resolve urgent coverage needs and maintain seamless operations. Success in this role requires strong technical proficiency, the ability to navigate multiple platforms, and confidence handling high-pressure and difficult conversations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple technology platforms simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to manage difficult conversations, de-escalation, and conflict resolution
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in time-sensitive situations
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospital workforce scheduling or staffing operations
  • Familiarity with VMS/MSP platforms (e.g., Beeline, ShiftWise, Kronos, or similar tools)
  • Experience working with contingent healthcare labor or external staffing vendors
  • Experience using multi-line phone systems, call routing software, or contact center tools
  • 2–4+ years of experience in healthcare scheduling, MSP programs, staffing coordination, or call center operations
  • Experience within MSP healthcare services or working with vendor-managed staffing environments

Responsibilities

  • Manage real-time hospital scheduling and staffing needs during after-hours operations
  • Serve as the primary contact for MSP healthcare escalations, including urgent staffing shortages, call-outs, vendor-related issues, and escalations
  • Coordinate with internal staff, float pools, and external staffing agencies to secure coverage quickly and efficiently
  • Handle high-volume inbound and outbound communications using multi-line phone systems and call-handling software
  • Navigate and update multiple systems simultaneously (e.g., scheduling platforms, VMS/MSP tools, Microsoft office tools)
  • Effectively manage difficult or high-stress conversations with clinical staff, leadership, and vendors while maintaining professionalism and empathy
  • Document all scheduling activities, escalations, and resolutions accurately in system platforms
  • Identify critical gaps and escalate issues to hospital leadership or MSP program managers as needed
  • Follow and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for scheduling, escalation handling, and compliance processes
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, communication, and response times
