About The Position

The Furniture Delivery Manager oversees the scheduling, coordination, and execution of furniture deliveries to ensure timely, safe, and efficient service. This role manages delivery teams, maintains customer satisfaction, and ensures proper handling of inventory and logistics operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2–3+ years of experience in logistics, delivery, or warehouse management
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Familiarity with routing software and inventory systems
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Knowledge of furniture handling and assembly

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily furniture deliveries and routes
  • Supervise delivery drivers and helpers, ensuring professionalism and efficiency
  • Monitor delivery timelines and resolve delays or logistical issues
  • Ensure proper handling, loading, and unloading of furniture to prevent damage
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, inventory logs, and reports
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery status, delays, and special requests
  • Handle customer complaints and service recovery when needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Train, coach, and evaluate delivery team performance
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff and sales teams for order accuracy
