Delivery Manager

Turgon AISan Francisco, CA

About The Position

Turgon is building an engine to connect data silos and unlock the potential of AI. This role is for someone who wants to work on problems that matter at the frontier of unlocking enterprise value with AI. The Delivery Manager will own a meaningful P&L across a portfolio of Turgon's largest accounts, scoping and running complex migration engagements while growing those accounts over time. This is hire #2 on the delivery team, and much of the work is uncharted territory. The work is hard, the impact is real, and success will be highly attributable to the individual.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience, likely in a high-growth B2B startup, management consulting (MBB, Big 4, or strong boutique), or a founding role.
  • Comfortable running steering committees, navigating procurement, and translating between technical teams and senior leadership (Executive Presence).
  • Understand the 'why' behind the 'why' and proactively spot new opportunities (Business Instinct).
  • Ability to decompose workstreams and dependencies for complex client requests like 'migrate 100+ systems' without a pre-existing playbook (Structured Thinking Under Ambiguity).
  • Genuine AI Fluency: Understand what AI agents can and can't do, and communicate this credibly to various audiences.
  • Bias Toward Speed: Make judgment calls with incomplete information and communicate proactively.
  • Comfortable Context-Switching: Ability to learn new fields quickly as the role involves working across various types of migrations and modernizations.
  • Builder Mindset: Get energy from writing the process while running it, building the car while driving, with minimal hand-holding.

Nice To Haves

  • Delivery experience at a high-growth B2B startup (Palantir, Databricks, Snowflake, Celonis, or similar).
  • Management consulting background (MBB, Big 4, or strong boutique) who left to build and deliver, not just advise.
  • Former founder or early operator at a startup.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML workflows or agentic systems, even at a conceptual level.

Responsibilities

  • Own the relationship with the client's program lead and steering committee, managing status, risks, and blockers.
  • Diagnose and fix workstream issues when they fall behind, rather than just escalating.
  • Earn the trust of engineering, product, sales, and the client.
  • Translate client needs into team builds and turn that work into crisp, client-ready output.
  • Codify what worked into reusable templates and frameworks after every engagement, effectively building the product, not just running projects.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation (cash and equity)
  • Direct exposure to co-founders and a hand in shaping company strategy
  • The chance to define how AI gets implemented in the world's largest companies
  • Strong benefits (medical, vision, dental, vacation, etc.)
