About The Position

The Delivery Manager (DM) of Data Analytics S&C is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, budgeting and motivating teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering exceptional business value to users through Data and AI. The DM will be responsible for our Snowflake Enterprise Data Lake and Analytics Warehouse Environments supporting Back Office requirements as well as the delivery of Spread and Commissions through Oracle Fusion. Core activities include managing multiple Information Services Managers (ISM) and their development teams, soliciting requirements, managing direct communications with high profile customers as well as Budgeting and managing Cloud based usage spend.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or equivalent; advanced degree desirable
Minimum of 1 years of Information Technology experience required with a focus on Analytics
Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience
Experience training and mentoring others
Recent experience managing Data Analytics and AI teams.
Experience with OCI, AWS, Azure and GCP
Experience with Snowflake and Oracle Fusion Platforms
Strong Experience with SQL, Python, ETL/ELT technologies and data replication tools
Experience in managing on-shore and off-shore teams
Superior at building relationships, collaboration and teamwork across the local and global organizations
Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
Ability to translate/communicate complex concepts to peers and business partners
Proficient in all phases of product/project delivery lifecycles
Strong Data skills including
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong technical project management and/or leadership skills including the ability to plan, organize, and steer activities
Strong financial acumen with a sense of shareholder responsibility
Ability to travel without restrictions

Responsibilities

Provides thought leadership and direction to all aspects of products and services, and partners with Product Owners, Architecture, IS Application Teams, Operating Company BI Teams, Innovation Lab, Global Privacy Office, and Information Security Group to ensure data management roadmaps align with business strategy
Establishes direction and clear sense of purpose to inspire teams in creating their own connection and passion to the business goals; orients others around a shared vision for Data Analytics
Manages concurrent, high visibility Spread and Commission based products/projects/services in the Evolve project
Help develop and promote responsible use of AI across new and existing projects
Identifies risks, mitigation plans, operational readiness criteria, change management, deployment success factors, and drives deliverables for production launches
Partners closely with the Product team to develops/maintains methods to measure value; obtains feedback to ensure that efforts are meeting expectations for value, time, cost and quality
Maintains overarching responsibility for executing best practices approaches and methodologies (ex: Agile/ Scrum, SAFe, etc) for the support and sustainability of solutions.
Management responsibility for the team, including hiring, leadership, development and accountability for performance.
Plans and develops people organization including but not limited to: coaching and mentoring, succession planning, proactive identification of resource gaps, etc. for a team of onshore and offshore resources
Drives team to improve sprint velocity and speed to market
Establish operational/departmental objectives and goals.
Evaluate conceptual aspects of technical designs of applications, systems and solutions to ensure sound decisions and investments are made in accordance with application architecture governance policies and standards.
Approve plans to leverage strategic sourcing partners where appropriate.
Develops and manages budget
Produce monthly forecasts.
Approves operational expenditures.
Manage Cloud SaaS monthly utilization
Determines variance of actual to forecast and take the appropriate action to correct variance.
Shares fiscal responsibility for the organization's technology investments and future planning of the organization's spend, to avoid unnecessary and duplicative services and to maximize ROI.
Establishes clear cost-of-service model and drives business cases for taking cost out of transactional processes through automation.
