About The Position

Seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Delivery & Installation Technician to work as an independent contractor (1099 role). This position is responsible for delivering, assembling, and installing mobility equipment to help improve customer safety, independence, and quality of life. It is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, has strong problem-solving skills, and communicates professionally with customers.

Requirements

• Valid and clean driver’s license
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (typically 50–100 lbs or more with assistance)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Good communication and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in delivery, installation, construction, or assembly work
• Familiarity with mobility or medical equipment
• Basic electrical or carpentry skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver mobility equipment to residential and commercial locations
• Assemble and install products, including: Lift chairs, Wheelchairs and scooters, Ramps, Stair lifts
• Ensure all equipment is installed safely and functions properly
• Provide basic instruction to customers on product use
• Load, unload, and transport equipment safely
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues during installation
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Represent the company professionally at all times
