About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver orders within a designated delivery area and perform general store team-member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to delivering products by car to customers’ doors, team members operate store equipment, stock ingredients and supplies, prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, complete paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility. The job involves interacting with customers and co-workers, using order-entry systems, and performing physical tasks in the store and during deliveries. Working conditions may include temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and adverse weather.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, bending, reaching, and climbing.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area; make multiple deliveries per shift as needed.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete associated paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
Communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone to process orders.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and handle monetary change accurately.
Unload and stock deliveries of ingredients and supplies, using a hand truck as needed.
Navigate delivery sites, including private homes, multi-story buildings, stairs, and other adverse terrain.
