About The Position

The Delivery Executive (DE) is a senior leader accountable for end-to-end delivery success across strategic accounts. This role provides executive oversight, fosters trusted customer relationships, and ensures alignment between SAP solutions and the customer's business transformation objectives. The DE is central to driving adoption, consumption, and realized value through the Activate Methodology, leveraging the integrated toolchain, driving solution to Fit to Standard (SAP Best Practices) and Clean Core architecture principles, while promoting innovation through AI-enabled solutions and creative problem solving. As the primary delivery representative to customer senior business and IT executives, the DE leads delivery governance throughout the transformation lifecycle—from sales support and implementation to post-go-live stabilization—ensuring consistent focus on customer outcomes and long-term value both customer facing and SAP internal, integrating with the SAP ecosystem across the SAP organization ensuring aligning with global and regional executive sponsors for the customer and their respective teams. This role requires close collaboration with the Managing Partner, Services Account Executive (SAE), partners, and internal SAP teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 10-15 years SAP services sales and services delivery experience including services management experience.
  • Major Systems Integrator experience preferred.
  • ERP implementation leadership experience managing teams of 50+ resources with $20M+ revenue per year required including PMP certification.
  • Track record of being able to translate business strategies into business capabilities needed to enable and to solutions required to operationalize while becoming the trusted advisor to customer business and IT executives.
  • Track record of leading executive customer-facing and internal steering meetings working with business and c-level IT executives.
  • Ability to integrate and coordinate with teams external to deployment project to ensure successful delivery across the ecosystem.
  • Track record of building and managing a portfolio of innovation use cases with the customer, proving out use cases, and transferring successful use cases into production.
  • Track record of leading $10M+ pre-sales pursuits successfully positioning strategic and business transformative consulting engagements.
  • Track record of achieving revenue and margin goals while managing multiple client projects of meaningful scope and duration.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships at the client business and IT executive level.
  • Ability to effectively manage and resolve client escalations.
  • Demonstrated leadership by example style in managing teams and clients.
  • Experience utilizing AI Tools to drive project delivery success

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery accountability across assigned accounts, ensuring consistent execution and program success.
  • Establish strong customer-facing and SAP internal governance frameworks to manage scope, risk, performance, and to drive innovations based on existing and new solution capabilities which are on SAP’s roadmap or are potential future roadmap capabilities.
  • Monitor consumed Annual Contract Value (cACV) and ensure progress on Commit-to-Consume (C2C) targets.
  • Provide oversight to delivery managers and project teams.
  • Facilitate and ensure integration with SAP ecosystem and System Integrators involved in the transformation at the respective customers.
  • Act as the Adoption and Consumption Executive, driving uptake and realized value of SAP solutions.
  • Lead adoption strategies that support cloud transformation, AI innovation, and operational efficiency.
  • Align SAP services with the customer’s strategic objectives to enable measurable business outcomes.
  • Guide digital transformation initiatives and develop long-term value plans.
  • Leverage creative, AI-driven solutions to solve complex customer challenges.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer and SAP executives.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for delivery-related matters.
  • Promote transparency, alignment, and proactive communication across all stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sales to identify and shape new service opportunities.
  • Expand SAP’s footprint by aligning future initiatives with customer needs and SAP innovation.
