About The Position
A delivery driver safely delivers customers’ orders from the store to their doors while providing friendly service. When not making deliveries, drivers help prepare food, prep, clean, and answer phones. Drivers must wear a company-approved hat and tucked-in company-approved shirt, along with non-faded black pants or shorts. The role is tipped and has a guaranteed base pay of $8.00 per hour, with additional pay from customer tips, mileage, and device reimbursement; drivers average $15–$20 per hour. All shifts are available, including days, nights, and weekends, with part-time and full-time scheduling options. Candidates may be able to start within 24 hours of their interview, pending background and motor vehicle record results. The position can provide opportunities to advance to management or franchise ownership.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid driver’s license for over one year.
- Have a clean driving record; background and motor vehicle record checks are conducted.
- Have access to a clean, reliable, insured vehicle for deliveries and be listed on its insurance policy.
- Be able to read a map, use GPS, and navigate the delivery area, including multi-story buildings.
- Be friendly, upbeat, and ready to handle varied conditions, including bad weather.
