About The Position

This role is for a Delivery Driver, also referred to as a Store Delivery Expert. The primary responsibilities include delivering product by car to customer doors, distributing flyers and door hangers, and operating all necessary equipment. The job involves preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. Essential functions include accurate calculations, making correct monetary change, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to enter orders via computer or touch screen. Navigational skills are crucial for reading maps, locating addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigating various terrains and multi-story buildings while carrying product. The role also requires working in varying weather conditions, managing different in-store temperatures, and handling food odors and dust. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying product (up to 50 pounds), pushing and pulling trays on dollies, climbing stairs or ladders, and continuous hand use for various tasks like shaping dough, using tools, and assembling boxes. Specific driving duties include delivering product and flyers. A valid driver's license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle are required.

Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.

Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Far vision and night vision for driving.

Delivery personnel must travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location.
Lifting bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds) and stacking onto shelves up to 72 high.
Carrying large cans, pizza sauce, and trays of pizza dough.
Pushing to move trays which are placed on dollies.
Climbing stairs or ladders.
Eye-hand coordination is essential.
Use of hands is continuous during the day.
Frequent and/or forceful use of forearms and wrists.
Manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven, and when using the rolling cutter.
Frequent and/or forceful pinching is required in the assembly of cardboard pizza boxes.
Must be able to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
