About The Position

J&J Calibration is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented team member to join us in a part-time Shipping & Receiving / Delivery Driver role. No extensive experience required — just a great attitude, reliability, and a valid driver’s license! This role involves both in-lab duties for shipping and receiving and on-the-road responsibilities for delivering customer equipment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail — accuracy matters here!
• Good communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs
• Comfortable driving in varying weather and route conditions
• Basic computer/data entry skills

Nice To Haves

• Any prior driving, delivery, warehouse, or customer service experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming equipment against work orders and packing lists
• Document equipment condition and flag any damage or missing parts
• Enter equipment info into our system and generate work orders
• Apply labels, barcodes, and tracking tags to keep everything organized
• Communicate with customers and team members about any discrepancies
• Keep the receiving area clean, organized, and safe
• Drive company vehicle to pick up and deliver customer equipment
• Follow planned routes and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries
• Handle equipment carefully and follow all traffic laws
• Keep the vehicle clean and do basic upkeep (tire pressure, oil checks)
• Represent J&J Calibration with friendly, professional customer service
