About The Position

Domino’s is hiring Delivery Drivers to make deliveries within a designated area and support store operations. Drivers need to provide and use an insured, registered vehicle that meets company standards, and must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and qualifying driving history. The position pays $15.50 per hour, plus tips and mileage. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Team members may have opportunities to advance into management or other roles within the company.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation.
Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history for at least 1.5 years during the last two years.
Must meet the stated driving-record standards, including limits on violations and at-fault accidents and no disqualifying serious violations.
Must have access to a registered, insured vehicle and be listed as an insured driver on its insurance policy.
Must have customer service and navigational skills, including the ability to read a map and locate addresses.
Must be able to comprehend and give written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Must be able to process orders by telephone and in person, perform basic arithmetic, and make correct monetary change.
Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Must be able to navigate delivery sites and carry products.
Must be able to perform the physical demands described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, and occasional climbing, stooping, or crouching.
Must be able to work with hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, and varying temperatures and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders to customers within the designated delivery area.
Read maps, locate addresses, and navigate delivery sites, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Provide customer service and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and over the telephone.
Periodically assist with inside store tasks, including food preparation and cleaning.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage areas, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
Receive and process telephone orders and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility daily.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move products to storage shelves.
Keep the delivery vehicle safe to operate and comply with periodic vehicle inspections.
