About The Position

The Domino’s Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. Drivers also assist in-store with duties such as preparing products, processing telephone orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The role includes training across delivery and in-store work and offers potential career progression within Domino’s.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, in person and over the phone.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.
• Operate equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders.
• Unload and move deliveries of ingredients and supplies, using a hand truck where needed.
• Assist with other in-store tasks as needed.
