About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and handling customer orders via phone and in person. The position requires taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, strong verbal and written communication skills for order processing, and precise hand-eye coordination for rapid and accurate movements. The role also requires computer or touch screen order entry. Work conditions involve exposure to varying weather, in-store temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments needed include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and collaboratively, handle stress, meet quality standards, interact with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include extensive standing and walking on various surfaces, with work surfaces generally between 36" and 48". Lifting of bulk product deliveries (up to 60 pounds) and stacking them up to 72" high is required. Carrying large cans, pizza sauce, and trays of pizza dough is also part of the job. Pushing and pulling trays on dollies, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, and stooping/bending at the waist are necessary. Crouching/squatting is performed occasionally for stocking and cleaning. Reaching continuously (up, down, and forward) is required for various tasks, including operating oven controls, changing signs, and handling ingredients. Eye-hand coordination is essential, with continuous use of hands for tasks like shaping pizza dough, using a pizza peel and cutter, and assembling pizza boxes. Grasping various items like cans, phones, cutters, peels, and boxes is also required. Tools and equipment may include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role requires delivering product by car to customer doors, distributing flyers and marketing materials, and possessing navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within a designated delivery area. This includes navigating multi-story buildings and various delivery sites while carrying product. Driving is a primary function, requiring far and night vision for safe operation within a designated area, potentially making multiple deliveries per shift. Walking is required from the store to the delivery vehicle and to the customer's location. Climbing five or more flights of stairs may be required during deliveries. Work conditions during delivery include exposure to varying weather conditions.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
