About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and receiving/processing telephone orders. Key responsibilities include taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, and using a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. The work environment can involve varying weather conditions, in-store temperature fluctuations, food odors, commercial dust, and cramped quarters. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, occasional climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and continuous hand tasks requiring eye-hand coordination. Specific tools and equipment used may include pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role requires delivering products by car to customer locations, distributing marketing materials, and possessing navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within a designated delivery area. This includes navigating various terrains and multi-story buildings while carrying product. Driving is a primary function, with potential for multiple deliveries per shift. Delivery personnel must walk to and from the store and their delivery vehicle, and to the customer's location. Climbing stairs, potentially five or more flights, may be required during deliveries. The delivery role also involves exposure to varying weather conditions.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between hands and fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
