About The Position

Graziano's Plant is seeking a Delivery Driver to be responsible for loading and unloading deliveries at the plant facility and respective store locations. This role requires the physical moving and lifting of products, carts, and pallets weighing as much as 150 lb. The driver will ensure timely transportation of product, verify orders, and maintain a professional representation of the company. Responsibilities also include operating powered vehicles safely, performing periodic facilities maintenance, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Requirements

Ability to drive safely.
Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
Ability to plan delivery routes.
Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Must be able to lift up to 150 pounds regularly.
Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather.

Nice To Haves

Maintain an operator license for powered vehicles, if required.

Responsibilities

Load and unload deliveries at the plant facility and the respective store locations.
Physically move and lift products, carts, and pallets weighing as much as 150 lb.
Properly and safely secure transportation carts in the truck’s EZ Trac using cargo straps.
Abide by all company safety policies and State and Federal Transportation Regulations.
Timely transportation of product from origin to destination as assigned.
Verify all orders ready for deliveries are accompanied with a packing list before leaving to the location.
Assist in verifying all products being delivered are accounted for on the packing list and are delivered in good conditions.
Inform your reporting manager of any issues found during the verification process.
Have the manager at the location sign the packing list once the verification process is complete.
Maintain professional representation of the Company in all interactions with customers, co-workers and through responsible driving.
Operate powered vehicles (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, dollies) in a safe manner and maintain an operator license, if required.
Perform periodic facilities maintenance and/or custodial tasks, such as cleaning the truck (cabin, exterior and truck bed), cleaning the equipment (forklift, pallet jack) and keeping floor free of debris and assisting in closing down the warehouse.
Assist in administrative task, such as the handling and preparation of paperwork.
Other duties as assigned.
