Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with 2 years of driving history (1 year if over 19).
• Must meet company standards for driving.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Must possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to work in in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas.
• Ability to tolerate sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
• Ability to tolerate fumes from food odors and exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Ability to work in cramped quarters, including the walk-in cooler.
• Ability to work near hot surfaces/tools from the oven (up to 500 degrees or higher).
• Awareness of sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Ability to talk and hear on the telephone.
• Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
• Depth perception.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to stand for most tasks.
• Ability to walk for short distances for short durations.
• Ability to sit for paperwork completion.
• Ability to lift bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds) from floor and stack onto shelves up to 72 inches high.
• Ability to carry large cans and pizza sauce.
• Ability to push/pull trays on dollies.
• Ability to infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver pizzas and other products to customers.
• Navigate to customer locations using maps and GPS.
• Handle customer payments and provide correct change.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
