About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential progression to management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers also perform general store-team duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The work involves interacting with customers and coworkers, using order-entry equipment, navigating delivery locations, and working in varied store and outdoor conditions.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical duties described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, and driving.
Ability to work in varying weather and temperatures and around food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete related paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
Use maps or other navigational skills to locate addresses and navigate delivery sites, including multi-story buildings.
Communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone to process orders.
Unload and stock ingredient and supply deliveries using a hand truck, and carry, push, or pull products and trays as needed.
Perform other store-team tasks such as changing sign prices, washing walls, and maintenance when required.
