About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products to customers in a designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and may suit someone seeking a primary or supplemental job. Team members may have opportunities to advance into management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to delivery work, store team members operate equipment, stock ingredients and supplies, prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, complete paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility. Drivers deliver products by car and to customers’ doors, and may deliver flyers and door hangers. The job involves working in a store and in varied outdoor conditions, with physical tasks such as standing, walking, carrying, lifting, pushing, reaching, and occasionally climbing stairs or ladders.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with speed.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, and carrying products during deliveries.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to delivery addresses, including private homes, multi-story buildings, and other delivery sites.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
