About The Position
The Delivery Driver performs general operational duties, including handling equipment; stocking and rotating ingredients from delivery to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers; preparing products; receiving and processing telephone and internet orders; counting inventory; completing paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility. Training includes customer service orientation, an interactive computer program, and hands-on practice. The role requires communicating with customers and coworkers by phone and in person, safely driving the employee’s own vehicle, navigating roads and delivery locations, and handling products during deliveries.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend and communicate verbally and in writing with customers and coworkers over the phone and in person.
- Ability to safely drive an own vehicle and navigate roads, maps, adverse terrain, and stairs at delivery sites while carrying products.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately to make correct monetary change; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to perform the stated physical activities and tolerate varying temperatures and conditions indoors and outdoors.
