About The Position

Delivery drivers deliver merchandise from the store to the customer via personal automobile. They collect money from customers, wait on customers, and maintain a clean and orderly kitchen work area, restaurant equipment, and utensils. Responsibilities also include washing work tables, segregating and removing trash, washing pots and pans, and transferring food from the cooler to the work area, with some assistance in food preparation. Additionally, drivers may be required to distribute advertising material like handbills and coupons door-to-door or to businesses, and may hold signs or banners to promote store products or sales. They may also communicate with prospective customers to answer questions and promote sales.

Requirements

Must have had a driver's license for 2 years.
Must meet MVR standards.
Must maintain vehicle and vehicle insurance in accordance with state requirements.
Must be available to work over the weekends (Friday to Sunday).

Responsibilities

Distribute advertising material such as handbills and coupons from house to house, to business establishments, or to persons on street, following instructions, street maps or address lists.
Hold a sign or banner in a street corner parking lot or other business area, which displays advertisements of store products or special sales.
Communicate with prospective customers to answer questions and promote sales.
