About The Position

The Aubuchon Company is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers and store locations while providing exceptional service. As a representative of our company, you will play a key role in creating a positive customer experience through safe driving, accurate order handling, and professional interactions.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for CDL drivers).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong knowledge of local areas and navigation skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Reliable, punctual, and skilled in time management.
Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
CDL license required for commercial vehicle operation.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior delivery experience preferred.
Must be comfortable working in an animal-friendly environment (accommodations available upon request).

Responsibilities

Safely deliver products to customers and store locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Provide outstanding customer service, addressing questions and assisting with unloading as needed.
Communicate delivery status and estimated arrival times with customers.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure safe operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
Assist with loading and securing merchandise to prevent damage.
Support in-store operations by stocking merchandise and assisting customers when not making deliveries.
Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
Maintain accurate driving logs and ensure legal compliance.
Manage fuel needs and conduct additional vehicle safety inspections.
