About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers and installs furniture in customers’ homes in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner, helping encourage repeat business. The role also focuses on achieving quality and efficiency scores to improve customer satisfaction and support the Operations Department. Drivers inspect products for missing parts or damage before leaving the Distribution Center, safely drive company vehicles, and contact customers with a two-hour delivery window after departure. Additional duties include loading and unloading products, handling changes to the daily delivery plan in coordination with customers and Customer Care, and working in the Distribution Center as needed. This is a full-time, commission-driven position in Plant City. The stated compensation range is $800–$1,100 per week, with associates paid every Friday and an extensive benefits package. The schedule begins at 6 a.m. and continues until all assigned deliveries are completed, including weekends. The work environment includes a large, non-air-conditioned Distribution Center and requires heavy lifting of 75 pounds or more, along with intermittent sitting and occasional standing, bending, and squatting.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED or high school equivalent/trade school.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must complete a pre-employment drug test, background check, and physical ability test.
Valid Florida driver’s license; no CDL required.
Clean driving record; restrictions may be reviewed.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Knowledge of Google Suite applications such as Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
Effective verbal and written communication, including speaking effectively and listening attentively.
Relationship management, receptivity to change, integrity, prioritization, teamwork, cross-cultural agility, customer orientation, proactivity, and personal development.

Contact customers upon leaving the Distribution Center to provide a two-hour delivery time frame.
Load and unload products using proper material-handling techniques and equipment to minimize damage.
Contact customers and the Customer Care Department about unforeseen changes to the daily plan.
Work in the Distribution Center as needed.
Help maximize quality and efficiency scores to improve customer satisfaction.
