About The Position

DM Burr is hiring a part-time, first-shift School District Delivery Driver serving the Oak Park School District. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The driver delivers inter-district supplies, furniture, and equipment to schools, handles work orders and completion records, helps maintain warehouse organization, and removes obsolete items or equipment as directed. Overtime may be needed. The position pays $17.75 per hour and offers a $200 hiring bonus after 90 days. DM Burr provides training and describes the work schedules as consistent. DailyPay is available, allowing employees to access pay the day after working.

Requirements

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience.
• GED or high school diploma.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a DMV check and have a clean driving record to be approved to drive company vehicles.
• Flexible availability.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive work orders and document completion, including labor hours.
• Safely and securely deliver inter-district supplies.
• Safely and securely deliver supplies, furniture, and equipment to schools in the district.
• Maintain warehouse organization and access as directed.
• Remove obsolete items or equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
