About The Position

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
- Minimum 2 years of driving history with a clean Motor Vehicle Record meeting company standards
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for commercial delivery purposes
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check and criminal background check
- Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with a positive, friendly attitude
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and basic route planning
- Physical capability to safely lift, carry, and load packages (up to 50 lbs regularly)
- Reliable transportation and commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safe driving practices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed

- Experience in delivery services, customer-facing roles, or vehicle operation
- Familiarity with mobile delivery applications and digital communication tools
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes within Mount Vernon and surrounding areas
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service while minimizing fuel consumption
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any special instructions
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery point, addressing customer inquiries and concerns with empathy
- Inspect vehicle daily for mechanical issues, cleanliness, and safety compliance; report maintenance needs promptly
- Handle packages and products with care, ensuring items arrive in excellent condition
- Navigate traffic and weather conditions safely while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer feedback
- Maintain organized records and documentation for all deliveries completed during shifts
- Represent the company professionally and positively in all customer interactions
