This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and receiving/processing telephone orders. The position also requires taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. Essential skills include accurate math calculations, making correct monetary change, strong verbal and written communication for order processing, and computer/touch screen order entry. The work environment can involve varying temperatures, food odors, commercial dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments needed are the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. The role requires significant standing and walking, with occasional sitting for paperwork. Lifting of up to 60 pounds is required for bulk deliveries, and carrying is involved for ingredients and pizza dough trays. Pushing is required for moving trays on dollies, and occasional climbing of stairs or ladders may be necessary. Stooping/bending is required at the pizza assembly station, and crouching/squatting is performed occasionally. Reaching is continuous in various directions for different tasks. Hand tasks are continuous and require eye-hand coordination, including forceful use of forearms and wrists for shaping dough, and pinching for box assembly. Team members will use tools such as pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. A key part of the job is delivering products by car to customer doors, which includes navigating adverse terrain in multi-story buildings and other delivery sites while carrying product. This also involves delivering flyers and marketing materials. A valid driver's license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle are required. Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses are essential. Physical demands during delivery include carrying product, driving within a designated area, and walking to and from the vehicle to the customer's location. Climbing up to five or more flights of stairs may be required during deliveries. The work conditions involve exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries and driving.
