About The Position

Domino’s is hiring a delivery driver to deliver products within a designated area and support other store-team duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers deliver products by car and carry them to customers’ doors. They may also deliver flyers and door hangers. General store duties include operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The work involves driving and delivering in varying weather, navigating homes and buildings (including stairs), and working in a store environment with hot and cold temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical tasks include standing, walking, sitting, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Ability to read a map, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, carrying products, climbing stairs, and walking while delivering.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and carry them to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate delivery locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
