About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers customer orders and helps with in-store work when not making deliveries. The role includes customer interaction on the road, processing orders, preparing products, stocking ingredients, operating equipment, and supporting the store team. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license held for at least two years.
• Must have a reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Must provide proof of car insurance.
• Must have a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Must be able to read maps, locate addresses in the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Must have a friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Must have motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
• Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customers within the designated delivery area.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
