About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated area. Drivers deliver products by car and carry them to customers’ doors, and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Ability to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to carry products while walking and climbing during deliveries.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area; a team member may make several deliveries per shift.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to addresses using maps and handle delivery routes that may involve adverse terrain, private homes, multi-story buildings, or five or more flights of stairs.
• Operate store equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory; complete associated paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and by phone.
• Unload and stock ingredient and supply deliveries using a hand truck.
• Perform other store tasks, including maintaining work areas and completing outside tasks such as removing trash.
