About The Position

Prime Meats is hiring a full-time Non-CDL Delivery Driver in Buford, Georgia. The company delivers premium-quality proteins to restaurants, butcher shops, grocery partners, and other foodservice customers throughout the Southeast. This role offers a guaranteed 40-hour workweek and a regular Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional Saturdays during peak seasons, including holiday periods. Drivers transport fresh, frozen, and refrigerated products on assigned routes while supporting safe, accurate, and timely deliveries. Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience as a non-CDL driver.
• Willingness to travel out of town weekly.
• Ability to lift up to 110 lbs.
• Willingness to obtain composite or steel-toe shoes.
• No serious tickets or accidents in the last 3 years.
• DOT Medical Card/physical required; Prime Meats may sponsor a medical card, subject to terms and conditions.
• No DWI/DUI in the last 10 years.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete the E-Verify employment verification process.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport fresh, frozen, and refrigerated protein products to customers within assigned routes.
• Execute daily route plans efficiently and maintain on-time delivery performance.
• Perform independent pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness.
• Verify orders, delivery documents, customer requirements, and special instructions for accurate and complete deliveries.
• Collect payments, obtain delivery confirmations, and complete required transportation and customer documentation accurately.
• Use ELD systems and other transportation technology to record driving hours, inspections, route activity, and potential delays.
• Follow DOT regulations, food safety standards, and company transportation and distribution policies.
• Promptly report safety concerns, vehicle maintenance needs, incidents, customer feedback, and operational improvement opportunities.
• Practice defensive driving and accident prevention and maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety.
