About The Position

The Delivery Driver takes and processes customer orders by phone and in person, prepares products, and delivers them by car to customers’ doors. The role also includes stocking ingredients, cleaning the facility and equipment daily, and distributing flyers and door hangers. Orientation and training are provided on the job.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide quickly and accurately, and make correct change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Ability to operate all equipment.
Navigation skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain while carrying products.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.

Responsibilities

Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Prepare products and operate required equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, the work area, and the walk-in cooler.
Clean the facility and equipment daily.
Deliver products by car to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
