About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift, deliver flyers and door hangers, and carry pizzas and beverages to customers’ doors. The role also includes general store team-member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Be able to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Have motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Be able to carry pizzas and beverages and climb stairs during deliveries, potentially five or more flights.
• Be able to meet the physical demands described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to delivery addresses, including adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
• Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
