About The Position

This role is for an hourly store team member who will be responsible for delivering products to customers. The job involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform basic math, and good motor coordination. The work environment includes varying temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, and requires standing for most tasks. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying items, pushing trays, and occasional climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting. For drivers, specific duties include delivering product by car and to the customer's door, delivering flyers, and requiring a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle. Essential skills for drivers include navigational abilities to read maps and locate addresses, and the ability to navigate various delivery sites while carrying product. Physical demands for drivers include carrying product during deliveries, driving within a designated area, and walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations. Climbing up to five flights of stairs may be required during deliveries. Drivers will also be exposed to varying weather conditions and require far and night vision for driving.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Valid drivers license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
