About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring Delivery Drivers to deliver orders within a designated delivery area. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and deliver products by car to customers’ doors, as well as distribute flyers and door hangers. The role also includes general store team-member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and potential advancement from delivery driver to management or franchise ownership.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area.
- Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs, while carrying products.
- Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
- Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
- Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Meet the role’s physical demands, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Navigate to delivery addresses, including through adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
- Operate store equipment and prepare products.
- Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and co-workers.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
