About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas and supports general store operations. The role can be part-time or full-time and may suit someone seeking a main job or supplemental income. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Domino’s offers opportunities for advancement, including into customer service, management, corporate operations, or franchise ownership.

Team members operate store equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility. The position involves working in a store and making deliveries, with exposure to changing weather, varied temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot equipment, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical tasks include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, and frequent reaching and hand use.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must have navigation skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Must be able to understand and give correct written instructions.
• Must be able to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers by telephone and in person.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed.
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Must have motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Must be able to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting and carrying supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, frequent reaching and hand use, and occasional climbing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from deliveries in storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
• Perform tasks such as changing prices on signs, washing walls, and maintenance as needed.
