About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders in a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including management and franchise ownership. Drivers also perform general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning. Training and orientation are provided on the job. Delivery drivers deliver products by car and carry them to customers’ doors. They may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role involves driving and walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, and may require climbing five or more flights of stairs. Drivers must be able to navigate delivery areas and adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes. Work may involve exposure to variable or adverse weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. The position requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and hand use, as well as occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, and crouching. Store duties may include handling deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds. Driving requires far and night vision.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, in person and over the phone.
Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to perform the physical activities described, including carrying products during deliveries and navigating stairs.

Responsibilities

Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and communicate with customers and co-workers.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage or work areas.
