About The Position

Delivery Drivers service approximately 100 local residential accounts per shift, which include a mix of household doorstep and walk-in office locations. Occasionally, they deliver compostable goods to office and restaurant customers. The role involves collecting 4-gallon bins containing food waste and leaving a clean, empty bin behind. Drivers are responsible for ensuring the customer's location is left clean and free of debris. At the end of the route, drivers return to the CompostNow warehouse to unload their van. Additional duties include pre- and post-trip safety/vehicle checks, weighing bins, recording weights, taking service notes, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. This position operates in a dynamic environment with testing and launching of new services, requiring adaptability and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

• Comfortable maneuvering large vehicles.
• Clean driving records.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Operate vehicles in accordance with CompostNow safety rules, OSHA and DOT requirements, and local, state, and federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Service approximately 100 local residential accounts per shift, including household doorstep and walk-in office locations.
• Deliver compostable goods to office and restaurant customers on occasion.
• Collect 4-gallon bins containing food waste and leave a clean, empty bin behind.
• Ensure customer locations are left clean and free of debris.
• Return to the CompostNow warehouse to unload the van at the end of the route.
• Perform pre- and post-trip safety/vehicle checks.
• Weigh bins and record bin weights.
• Take service notes.
• Maintain a clean vehicle.
• Approach operational updates with adaptability and a willingness to learn.
