About The Position

Sullivan Tire, an employee-owned company, has an opportunity for a Wholesale Delivery Driver. This individual is responsible for pulling, staging, loading and delivery of passenger and light truck tires to our customers as well as picking up customer scrap tires on delivery if requested to do so. You will be driving a non-CDL type truck. Deliveries are local with a consistent route (no overnight travel). Adheres to internal controls, policies and procedures. Workday is M-F 7:00/7:30 AM- 4/5:00 PM / Every other Saturday 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM. This position may also request some days to start at 6 AM M-F until about 3-4PM.

Requirements

Minimum of high school diploma.
Ability to lift, up to 75 lbs.
Valid Drivers license is required.
Has insurable driver’s record.
Ability to multi-task
Attention to detail
Clean Driver’s Record
Good Safety Record
Basic math skills
Strong customer service skills
Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities

Pull, organize, stage, load and deliver products to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
Unload, check in, and put away inventory.
Responsible for accuracy of delivered product, accounting of customer payment, signatures and monies collected.
Safe operation of warehouse equipment and fleet vehicles in accordance with Company, state and federal guidelines.
Maintain current certifications and licenses in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Manage accurate records of customer returns for credit, including all related documentation.
Represent Sullivan Tire in a polite, professional manner at all times. It is imperative to treat all motorists as future Sullivan Tire customers.
Assume additional responsibilities as requested.
