Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving history
Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standards
Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Physical capability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and basic mobile technology
Valid proof of insurance for personal vehicle used for delivery
A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and genuine commitment to customer satisfaction
Ability to work independently while remaining responsive to team communication

Responsibilities

Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes within the Scott AFB area and surrounding neighborhoods
Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and local knowledge to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and handling transactions with accuracy and courtesy
Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any special instructions or issues
Inspect vehicle daily for mechanical issues, cleanliness, and safety compliance; report maintenance needs promptly
Handle packages and products with care, ensuring items arrive in excellent condition
Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays, route changes, or customer concerns
Follow all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and vehicle operation guidelines
Build positive relationships with customers and represent the organization's commitment to quality and reliability
Organize and manage delivery schedules to meet daily targets while maintaining flexibility for urgent requests
