About The Position
Riesterer & Schnell is Wisconsin’s premiere John Deere Dealership, serving Wisconsin farmers and residents for nearly 100 years. The Delivery Driver is responsible for the timely, efficient, and safe movement of equipment between R&S locations and customers’ residences or businesses. The role operates a company truck and trailer, coordinates deliveries with service staff, and follows applicable traffic and DOT regulations. The driver also loads and unloads materials with a forklift, completes paperwork, checks delivered equipment, provides basic operating instructions to customers, and handles customer signatures, documents, and payments when needed. The position is full-time in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a mostly voluntary Saturday shift from 7:30 a.m. to noon. The typical starting wage range is $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience. Requirements
- At least three years of previous related driving experience.
- A valid driver’s license.
- An insurable driving history.

Responsibilities
- Operate a company truck and trailer daily to transport equipment between R&S locations and customer sites.
- Secure loads and operate the vehicle safely while observing traffic laws and prioritizing public safety.
- Coordinate deliveries cooperatively with the Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, and/or Service Writer.
- Observe all DOT regulations.
- Complete related paperwork in a timely manner.
- Use a forklift to load and unload materials.
- Check the condition of delivered equipment.
- Give customers basic instructions on operating equipment.
- Obtain signatures, exchange papers, and accept customer payments when needed.
- Report accidents or losses immediately to a supervisor.
- Notify the Service Manager of vehicle concerns and ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner.
- Perform all job functions safely and promptly.
- Maintain a positive, professional image in dress and conduct.
- Perform other duties assigned by a supervisor.
