About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to serve customers within a designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential progression to management. Drivers also perform general store team-member duties, such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing orders, taking inventory, and cleaning. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position requires delivering products by car and to customers’ doors, as well as delivering flyers and door hangers. Team members may make several deliveries per shift and may also be responsible for unloading and stocking product deliveries. Work includes standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, and navigating stairs or other challenging delivery locations. The job involves exposure to varying weather, hot and cold temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot equipment, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Be able to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Have the motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and bring them to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload and stock bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
Navigate delivery locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
