About The Position
This position requires the ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, and to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person. The role involves accurately adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing, and making correct change. Essential skills include verbal, writing, and telephone communication for taking and processing orders, as well as the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. The driver must be able to operate all equipment, stock ingredients from the delivery area to the storage and work areas, and the walk-in cooler. Product preparation, receiving and processing telephone orders, and daily cleaning of the facility and equipment are also key responsibilities. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The role necessitates delivering product by car to the customer's door, distributing flyers and door hangers, and possessing navigation skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area. This includes navigating adverse terrain such as multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product. A valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards, and access to an insured vehicle for delivery are mandatory.
