About The Position
This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and handling customer orders via phone and in person. Key responsibilities include taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, as well as the ability to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations and handle monetary transactions. Essential skills include motor coordination for precise movements, computer/touchscreen order entry, and the ability to work under various conditions. In addition to in-store duties, the role includes delivering products to customers via car, which requires navigational skills, a valid driver's license, and access to an insured vehicle. Delivery personnel must be able to navigate diverse terrains, including multi-story buildings, and handle various weather conditions. Physical demands for delivery include carrying products, driving, walking to and from the vehicle, and potentially climbing multiple flights of stairs.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
Responsibilities
- Operate all equipment
- Stock ingredients from delivery area storage, work area, walk-in cooler
- Prepare product
- Receive and process telephone orders
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
- Deliver product by car and then to door of customer
- Deliver flyers and doorhangers or any marketing materials
