About The Position

The Delivery Driver transports products from origin to destination as assigned, delivering on time and providing professional customer interaction. The role includes unloading and staging products at customers’ places of business, maintaining customer satisfaction, and building strong customer relationships. Drivers represent the Company through responsible driving and professional conduct. A CDL with either a Class A or Class B endorsement is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CDL with either a Class A or Class B endorsement.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including occasionally lifting products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds and handling tires weighing more than approximately 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• 2–4 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations.
• Help verify outgoing and incoming products for accuracy in size, amount, and type.
• Collect customer payments in forms accepted by the Company.
• Unload cargo efficiently and stage products at customers’ places of business.
• Ensure required delivery-order paperwork is available for inspection and accompanies shipments.
• Represent the Company professionally in customer interactions and through responsible driving.
• Maintain records required by law and Company policy, including driver logs, fuel-purchase records, and mileage records.
• Occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
• Transport products promptly from origin to destination as assigned.
