About The Position
This position involves operating all necessary equipment, stocking ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing associated paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility on an approximate daily basis. The role requires the ability to perform accurate and quick calculations, make correct monetary change, and possess strong verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing. Motor coordination for precise and rapid hand-eye movements is essential, as is the ability to enter orders via computer keyboard or touch screen. The driver must be able to comprehend and provide written instructions, and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers. Responsibilities include delivering product by car to the customer's door, distributing flyers and door hangers, and utilizing navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area. The driver must also be able to navigate various terrains, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying product.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
