About The Position

The Delivery Driver drives a company delivery vehicle over established routes to deliver products safely and efficiently to clients and customers. The role also provides customer service in the store and during deliveries, prepares customer orders by mixing or tinting products to specifications, and assists with order-related questions and transactions. This part-time position is based in Iowa City, Iowa.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Punctuality and dependability.

Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to distinguish between colors.
High school diploma or comparable certification (GED).

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Prior experience in delivery, retail sales, cashiering, or customer service; experience is not required.

Responsibilities

Deliver products safely and efficiently using a company vehicle.
Follow designated routes and time schedules to ensure prompt delivery.
Load and unload the delivery vehicle.
Prepare orders by mixing or tinting products to customer specifications.
Identify and match paint colors accurately.
Assist customers over the phone and in the store with orders and questions.
Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and maintain a cash drawer properly.
Provide a high level of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction with products and services.
Collaborate with coworkers and managers to maintain a smooth workflow.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
