About The Position
Prairie Pizza, a family-owned Domino’s franchise, is hiring a Delivery Driver at its Charlotte, North Carolina location. Drivers deliver hot, fresh orders to customers in the local area and provide a positive customer experience. The role also supports store operations by answering phones and taking orders, processing payments, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting the in-store team when not making deliveries. Drivers average $15–$20 per hour in total compensation, including hourly pay, tips, and mileage reimbursement; the posting also states an annual total-compensation potential of $30,000–$40,000. Tips can be taken home at the end of each shift.
Requirements
- Have a valid U.S. driver’s license for at least one year, excluding time with a permit.
- Have a clean driving record, with no more than three violations in two years.
- Have a reliable personal vehicle with current insurance.
- Be able to pass a standard background check.
- Be a reliable team player with the energy to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Have an excellent sense of direction and knowledge of the local area.
Responsibilities
- Safely and quickly deliver customer orders in the local area.
- Answer phones and accurately take customer orders.
- Process payments and handle transactions accurately.
- Provide friendly customer service with a positive attitude.
- Help maintain store cleanliness, including washing dishes, sweeping, and mopping.
- Assist the in-store team when not making deliveries.
