Delivery Driver - Amazon Packages in a Van
About The Position
East West Logistix is seeking Delivery Drivers to deliver Amazon Packages in a van in the Reno/Sparks area. This is a performance-based role where earnings depend on performance. Drivers will deliver 200-300+ packages per day, get in and out of the van 200+ times daily, walk 15,000-20,000 steps in all weather conditions, and repeatedly lift packages up to 50-60 lbs. The initial weeks are described as challenging, but drivers' bodies adapt, routes become familiar, and solid earnings can be achieved through independent work without micromanagement. The job is not for those who need constant direction, dislike physical work, or are uncomfortable in various weather conditions. The company provides a company vehicle and paid training from day one. Growth opportunities into Lead Driver, Trainer, and Operations Manager are available.
Requirements
- 21+ years old
- Valid driver’s license
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug test (THC excluded)
- Able to lift 60 lbs repeatedly
