About The Position
Domino's is seeking Delivery Drivers who are at least 18 years old and possess a friendly, positive attitude with great customer service skills. A valid driver's license with at least 2 years of safe driving record is required, along with the ability to work weekends. Successful candidates will have strong navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses within a designated delivery area, and navigate diverse terrains including multi-story buildings. The role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills
- Valid Driver's license with at least 2 years of safe driving record
- Must be able to work weekends
- Possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area and must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Most tasks are performed from a standing position
- Standing for most tasks
- Walking for short distances for short durations
- Lifting bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds) and cases of ingredients and supplies
- Carrying large cans (3 pounds, 7 ounces), pizza sauce (30 pounds), and trays of pizza dough (12 pounds each)
- Pushing to move trays on dollies (up to 7.5 pounds of force)
- Infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder
- Stooping/Bending at the pizza assembly station, front counter, and when stocking ingredients
- Crouching/Squatting to stock shelves and clean low areas
- Reaching continuously (up, down and forward)
- Eye-hand coordination is essential; use of hands is continuous
- Frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists for shaping pizza dough
Responsibilities
- Operate all equipment
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler
- Prepare product
- Receive and process telephone orders
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
- Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area, a Team Member may make several deliveries per shift
