About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and receiving/processing telephone orders. Key responsibilities include taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, and efficient order processing using a computer keyboard or touch screen. The work environment can involve varying weather conditions, in-store temperature fluctuations, food odors, commercial dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments suited for this role include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and collaboratively, handle stress, meet quality standards, interact with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying items, pushing/pulling trays, occasional climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and continuous hand use involving eye-hand coordination, forceful movements for tasks like shaping dough, and grasping various items. Tools and equipment used may include pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role requires delivering products by car to customer doors, distributing flyers and marketing materials, and possessing navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within a designated delivery area. This includes navigating adverse terrain such as multi-story buildings and various delivery sites while carrying product. Physical demands during delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages, and potentially navigating five or more flights of stairs. Driving is a core component, with team members making multiple deliveries per shift. Walking is required between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations. The work conditions involve exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries and driving.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between eye and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
