About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Winter Garden, FL. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a delivery vehicle to transport food to designated locations, loading, unloading, and handling food with care to prevent damage. You will follow prescribed routes and schedules to maximize delivery efficiency, provide excellent customer service, including obtaining signatures and handling inquiries, and maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. Additionally, you will conduct vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly, adhering to all traffic laws, safety policies, and company procedures.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong customer service orientation with effective communication abilities
- Physical capability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and mobile devices
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of local area and routes in Winter Garden and surrounding areas
- Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or related field
